2-year warranty from date of purchase

From the date of purchase of your rooftop tent, iKamper will replace defective parts free of charge for 2 years (at its own discretion). iKamper provides the replacement parts – however, you are responsible for installation.

This warranty only applies if you purchased directly from iKamper.com or from an authorized dealer. It does not apply to used purchases. If you purchased from an authorized dealer, please have your proof of purchase ready in the event of a warranty claim.

For products sold by iKamper that do not bear the iKamper brand, the manufacturer's warranty of the respective product applies. "Garage Sale" tents (available only at our Kent, WA location) are also covered by the limited 2-year warranty – however, certain parts marked accordingly at the time of purchase are excluded.

The following are not covered by the warranty:

• UV damage: Damage to fabric or gelcoat caused by sunlight

• Normal wear and tear: e.g., discoloration or scratches on the shell, dents, or fogged vinyl windows

• User-inflicted damage: Due to improper use, accidents, incorrect handling, etc.

• Damage caused by natural events: such as storms or strong winds

• Cosmetic changes that do not affect the function of your tent

• Unauthorized repairs or modifications to the product

Axes and kayaks are always part of your vacation gear? Then the iKamper BDV is exactly the right roof tent for you. The great thing: The BDV comes in two sizes: in the BDV Duo there is room for two, in the Solo there is room for one.

Practical Equipment for Your Adventure

Several mounting rails are mounted on top and on the sides of the hard shell of the BDV – perfect for attaching your outdoor equipment or other gear. MTB, kayak, or even a solar panel can be installed on the roof plate. This allows you to enjoy the seclusion of nature completely self-sufficiently at the spot of earth you have chosen.

Simple and Quick Setup

Moreover, the BDV is super flat. When closed, it is only 17 cm high. And unfolding the tent is just as easy and quick as you'd expect. Once both snap fasteners on the hard shell are open, a gentle pressure against the tent cover is enough, and the tent opens automatically in 15 seconds. Then just install the ladder and the door tension rod, and the tent is ready for occupancy.

By the way: BDV stands for "Blue Dot Voyager", with the blue dot representing the earth and Voyager for all travelers.

What's Special about the BDV

The BDV is made to be able to linger very close to nature. But what would be the best tent in the world without the beauty of this earth? And so iKamper made sure to produce a fair and sustainable product when creating this tent.

For the production of the tent, organic cotton and recycled poly fabric were used, which was obtained by melting old plastic bottles. The fabric of the BDV passed the GRS and OCS certifications and meets all criteria of the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Class 1. Of course, the entire material is waterproof, blackout, absolutely robust, and particularly durable.

Care Instructions

Normally, dirt beads generously when in contact with water. If that's not enough, we recommend our tent cleaner.
